PBGV Health Survey

Your PBGV is very important to us. We need to know about your PBGV’s health so that the PBGVCA health committee and the Health and Rescue Foundation can make the right choices when planning health programs, seminars and funding research. Learn how you can submit health info for your PBGVs and have a major impact on the breed's health.

Come one, come all. When the Club and Foundation did the last survey, ten years ago, we found out so much good information from you about your PBGV. So let’s do it again! Everyone who has a PBGV as part of their family is invited to participate no matter where you live in the world.

How to participate. Go to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) Health Surveys website.
Scroll to Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen Survey and click.
Select the Answer Survey button.

Answer a new survey for each PBGV that you owned that was alive at any time during the year 2020. The health status of dogs at the end of 2020 should be entered.

Who sees my information? This survey will be analyzed and recorded for the Health Committee by the OFA. All information submitted is confidential and numbers are used only in aggregate. To see the aggregate data collected to date, select the View Results button.

If your PBGV is perfectly healthy, we want to know that, too! So please answer the survey for healthy dogs as well.
